Abstract
Scientific research plays an essential role in the scientific, economic, and social development of modern societies. A doctoral degree represents the highest level of university education and primarily aims to generate new knowledge capable of providing responses to the complex challenges facing society. However, undertaking a doctoral thesis is a demanding endeavor that requires determination, rigor, objectivity, commitment, personal sacrifice, and financial resources. Doctoral researchers are therefore expected to produce original, rigorous, and relevant work that meets international academic and scientific standards. Nevertheless, it is important to point out that researchers engaged in this academic journey face many challenges, particularly when it comes to writing, structuring, or completing their doctoral dissertations. These difficulties may be related to time management, work organization, planning the different stages of the research process, and the effective use of available resources. It is within this context that our reflection on this topic is situated, with particular emphasis on the impact of management tools on the implementation and completion of a doctoral thesis project.
